DIPSOMANIACS
The work with "The tremolo of her mind / The strings of her soul" is now concluded. The final mix of the album includes five tracks. Some covers familiar Dipso territory, while others stretch far beyond the music you would expect to hear on a Dipsomaniacs record. When asked to comment on the album, Holm himself said that he was surprised and quite amazed that the record had turned out so beautiful. "We could have hammered through four extremely boring blues jams or something, instead we have ended up with an emotional album that in many was has cultivated new ground for us as musicians. I've been listening to the sixteen minutes long Indian influenced dipso raga over and over again, and it gets me every time." The album will be released in November 2002 on vinyl by Apartment, while the CD will be released by American label Free City Media. Check out their site at www.freecitymedia.com
