Slowburn's fifth release (read: their debut full-length album) is steeped in the idea of making everything the most comfortable way possible. It is also a distant and glazed look on a world that seems to be most interested in how many drunk men you can fit in a small-sized sweater without losing one's hair. It requires grim determination, so try not to loose yours. Organ, effects, accoustic and electric guitars, samples and modest vocals. All swimming in a muddy pool of melancholy. |
